As a dental care professional (DCP), your knowledge and expertise could help us maintain standards by ensuring those seeking to practise in the UK have the appropriate qualifications, knowledge, expertise and skills for registration.
The General Dental Council (GDC) is seeking to engage DCP registration assessment panellists for its registration assessment panels for the following specialisms:
Our panellists assess applications for registration from overseas qualified dental professionals, whose qualifications are not automatically recognised by the GDC.
The panels are made up of a combination of dentists and dental care professionals.
Our DCP Panellists provide advice and recommendations to the GDC Registrar on whether an applicant’s name can be added to the GDC register based on an assessment of their overseas qualifications, knowledge, expertise, skills and experiences.
As a DCP panel member, you would commit to participate in a minimum of six panel meetings and one assessor workshop day annually.
We are offering a self-employed engagement assignment on an intermittent basis for a period of five-years without any mutuality of obligation to suit your professional life and commitments. If selected to be enrolled on our bank of self-employed associates, we offer a daily fee of £353 for any work undertaken, plus payments for preparation time.
For further information, please read the Role Profile and apply via the link.
The GDC champions equality and celebrates diversity and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.
